MY STORY:
I am deeply rooted in Northeast Portland, OR, where my journey has been shaped by both my experiences as a professional football player and my unwavering commitment to my Black community. Growing up, I learned the importance of resilience, teamwork, and leadership, lessons that carried me through my athletic career. After transitioning from sports to education, I became a Restorative Justice (RJ) Specialist at Portland Public Schools. My role allows me to combine my passion for mentoring with my desire to help others heal and thrive. My work is about lifting up young people, particularly students of color, and creating safe, supportive spaces for them to grow.
MY WORK:
As a Restorative Justice Specialist, I provide training and support to schools, helping them adopt RJ practices that turn conflict into opportunities for learning and connection. I work closely with students, educators, and administrators to build stronger, more empathetic communities. With my background as a professional athlete, I am also especially passionate about supporting student-athletes—helping them balance the demands of school and sports while developing into strong, compassionate leaders. My work is focused on advocating for justice, equity, and healing in schools, with an emphasis on supporting those from marginalized communities.
MY INVITATION:
I invite schools, educators, and athletes to join me in creating environments where every student can thrive. Whether you're looking for Restorative Justice training for your team or community or seeking mentorship to support the mental and emotional growth of student-athletes, I'm here to help. Together, we can build stronger, more inclusive communities that empower young people to lead with integrity and resilience. Let’s work together to create lasting change.
